Hi All,
Please excuse cross-posting but the feedback could be worth it.
Recently a friend acquired a IBM PS/1 486. It lacks a sound card and
cd-rom. The OS is Windows 3.1.  I think a document reader and not a
screen reader would be sufficient as she can see well enough for apps
and screen navigation.
So I guess what's need is an "inexpensive" speech synthesyser, internal
or external,? and a document reader.
Your "experience" is appreciated.
