That new standard is very interesting indeed.  But when I saw it at work,
and listened to parts of a short book recorded in this standard, i did not
find the most important of all features on any recorder working
satisfactorily.

This new standard was not able to speed up the speed at which one reads,
more accurately, it did speed it up, but minimally.

I  believe that most blind individuals will have little interest on any
standard that does not allow for significant acceleration of play back
speed regardless of how impressive other features are.
