Fernando,
If you are frustrated about pasting and cutting in Windows 95 try these
tips.
When you see something you want to copy to the clipboard while you are in
your shell account, go to it with the JAWS cursor, find the beginning of
it and lock down the left mouse button. Navigate one character to the
right of the thing you are selecting and unlock the left mouse button. Now
press alt+e,c to copy to the clipboard.
Regarding jumping quickly to a web page, here is something that will help
you stay out on the shell and not worry quite so much about switching back
and forth to your ppp account. This will require that you edit your
.profile file. It also assumes that you use pine as an email program on
the shell. Make an alias for the pine command by bring your .profile file
into an editor. To do this, go to the bottom of the file and type in a
line that looks like this
alis pine='pine -z'
The -z switch allows pine to be suspended. So, when you have pasted your
url to the clipboard, with your alias working, you can press control + z
to suspend pine, fire up lynx, press g, alt+e,p and perhaps enter, and off
you go to the url you pasted.
