The paper feed is the worst part of this printer. After it does start to
feed several sheets, it ruins the rollers, and the printer has to be sent
in for servicing.
The best advice is to prevent the problem before it starts. From my
experience, the following tricks help, but they don't entirely remove the
problem:
Be sure you fan the paper several times before inserting it; remove the
paper when the printer is not in use or overnight; fan it several times and
use fewer sheets in damp climates; be sure that the side holders in the rea
vertical pickup bin are squeezed against the paper, and when you inset the
paper, be sure that not more than one sheet "falls" into the bin.
