defraging is something most recommend doing on a regular basis......  to
keep files in some sort of order and keep the machine running smooth......
 in most cases  defrag is installed as a default with win95... if it is you
will find it in
start->programs-> accessories->system tools

just simply close as much as you can...  and run defrag.....  if you havent
run that before  its probably a good idea to run a good scan disk first (
also found same place)
