It started with the old cartridge and continued with the new (not
refill) cartridge. On the old cartridge I'd guess about 100 pages over
4-5 months. Zero successfully with the new one.

I assume you mean to thump the cartridge and not the head. I haven't
tried that yet, I'll let you know when I get home.

Is alcohol okay for the head? I only did a quick wipe on it, not
wanting to get too much on it.

Thanks
John

Is this a new cartridge? refilled? approximately how many pages were
printed from it? Without knowing the answers to these questions it is
difficult to suggest more. If the head is indeed clogged sometimes a
sharp
whack of the side of the cartridge on a desk may dislodge a clogged
nozzle,
or in case of air bubbles, a thumb or finger thump on the side of the
cartridge may bring out air bubbles (so I've been told). Sounds like
you've
tried everything else.
