The "tricking" may pertain to lactose intolerance (more appropriately
called "lactase deficiency"), which can be temporarily "tricked" by
adding lactase (to help digest the lactose). Doesn't work for
everybody, but it does the trick for some.
Dairy allergy is a whole other kettle of fish. There are efforts
afoot to find ways to get the body not to identify foods as "foe",
but these are not yet developed enough to be safe and practical. And
when the possible side effects include death, it's not worth trying
something tricky.
