Maybe we could arrange for Tollund Man, the Austro-Italian
Icepop, and the
Frozen Inca Cutie to make a guest appearance in
Montclair.... Talk about a
blast from the past!
Another one just Icepopped out of a glacier in northern BC; a hunter,
missing his head & forearms but otherwise quite complete. He is fully clad
with such niceties as fur clothing, a carved walking stick, a knife in a
sheath, and the very moose nearby that he was butchering when some obscure
misfortune beset him. One of the Yukon archaeologists with our branch is up
at the glacier now, thawing him and his victim out, for a quick trip to the
freezer. More to come in future Nat'l Geo's, no doubt.
From cracks to crevasses, we cover it all, and that's fissure!
