Administrative Opportunity
The Institute for the Transformation of Learning has the following position available:
Position: Research Associate
Responsibilities: Organize existing information and perform research about school choice programs; plan and research issues as a basis for producing written reports and papers on a variety of school choice issues; draft new articles and presentations on school choice policy concerns; monitor emerging issues; respond to inquiries from the media and other interested persons; prepare educational programs and teaching seminars; and participate in conferences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; two years related experience; ability to produce reports on educational issues relating to parent choice; ability to communicate complex issues effectively; computer capability; familiarity with Internet; excellent writing skills; strong organizational skills; and the ability to work under deadlines. Experience knowledge of news media operations and prior participation in complex projects requiring development of work plans and cooperative work with other team members is highly desireable. Writing sample may be required.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
