Greetings all;

        My mother's computer will intermittently freeze after displaying the
"Stack Overflow" message. It is increasing in frequency.
        The system is used solely for freenet access, a few card games and an
old Dos version of Word Perfect. It can happen while any program is
running.

System is running WFW 3.11

386 DX 40 (cheap no-name MB)
2 Meg Ram

        What would be the best course to follow in the diagnosing of this
problem? Thanks to all who reply.
