Packard Bell PB8515SV, BPCS 010201001

This is a four year old Packard Bell Monitor. I'm surprised
it's lasted me this long.

This evening, I discovered that if I accidentally touched or
jiggled the power cable, the monitor would shut off. If you
jiggle the cord, you can hear a clicking noise, like that of
the on off switch, trying to come on.

Is this something I can fix? What do I do about it? I have no
experience in dealing with monitor problems. Dump the monitor
and buy a new one. I don't know how long these devices should
last.

Any illumination on the topic will be greatly appreciated.
