Dan,
We have run into that problem recently with K6-2-350, and Mitsumi 32X
drives. Fixed the problem by going to a 36X. One of the 32X is in my
machine right now and I am listening to Kenny G as I type this, but I only
have a K6-233. Try a different speed CD-rom.
