Dear Computer Gurus,
I just built a computer with a FIC PA-2013 motherboard and a generic
floppy disk. When I boot the computer, it says Floppy Disk fail (40). I
believe I have connected the cable right, and that the drive is working. It
gets power (light goes on when initially read), but I still get this
message. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you,

Chuck Hassenplug
