here's how "Windows 95 Secrets" suggests copying one drive to another so
that they are exactly the same:
first disable windows' virtual memory, after restarting the computer, on
the win 95 run line type:
xcopy c:\ d:\ /c /e /f /h /r /s

I have used this command a few times and had good success with it.
