i'm doing quite well, thanks.
instead of eating meat for breakfast-lunch-dinner, and having fruit as a
snack, i've tried turning the whole thing around, sort of. i'm having
vegetables/fruit/nuts as the main part of the diet, and having meat once a
day (some days twice). still paleo, but in a different way.
surprisingly, my weight has stayed the same thru this, i had expected an
increase due to eating more carbs. (i'm still trying to lose the 10 pounds i
gained after quitting smoking, menthol cigarettes being very un-paleo. this
is one of the reasons i was eating mostly meat - to try to lose the weight.)
i'm going to try Amadeus' idea of more B1, i'll have to stop roasting my
nuts, the heat does destroy B1. i'll let you know if switching from roasted
nuts to raw nuts helps.

JoAnn.
