Subject: universal remote access interconnection protocol under development
This is just a note for anyone who missed it earlier.
There is a universal remote access interconnection protocol under development. The work of Standford (accessors), Trace's URCC work and that of others have all been brought together in an effort being coordinated out of the National Center for Information Technology Standards NCITS (an industry standards organization).
For information on this effort (currently called the Alternative Interface Interaction Protocol (AIIP)
