Doesn't matter much. I have NT server running on all of them.
Ask about the motherboard and BIOS you paln to use. That has
a bigger impact on installing NT Server. To my surprise I could not
load NT workstation on a bargain basement "complete system" I got
at Circuit City that uses a Cyrix MII cpu with integrated sound and
video on the motherboard, but the exact same pc now happily runs
NT Server. I just couldn't get the integrated video and sound to work
under NT workstation. You would do best to stick with a name brand,
known to be compatible motherboard. If it is going to integrate
anything, I like it to have a SCSI controller.
I personally prefer Intel for performance, but each server is fitted to a
specific load, and if it is appropriate, I will build the lowest priced system.

Subject: [PCBUILD] new NT server
Hello everybodies,
I intend to build a server for my in-house training on Nt server. Which
brand/type of cpu should I choose? Intel, Amd or Cyrix?
Thank You.
