Hi Trevor
Some older programs need to be run in the DOS Mode to get full use.
One way I would suggest on doing this is ...
Right click on the DeskTop and make a Shortcut to the software that is
going to be used.
After you have the shortcut set up. Right click on the Icon (for the
shortcut you just made), go to Poperties and on the Program Tab click on
Advanced. Make sure it is Setup to run in Real Dos and check or uncheck
warning splash screen for shutting down into DOS.
Also you will notice in this area is a place to set up your config.sys and
autoexec.bat as it goes into DOS.
As you need as much memory as possible in the lower 640K, you might load
the CD-Rom and anything else you are using HIGH in the Config or Autoexec.
Hope this helps
Instead of a shortcut some people use a bootup floppy with everthing setup
in the config and autoexec running from the floppy to control the memory
and CD-Rom

Anybody any suggestions?
