In a Socket 7 motherboard any "Classic" Pentium CPU will work fine, 133,
166, 200....In nearly all of these motherboards the jumper setting are
silkscreened onto the board in lieu of a lost manual. You may or may not be
able to use MMX, but I wouldnt even bother anyway, since any gains are
minimal and I have 166, 166MMX, 233MMX machines I use every day and cant
discern much gain from the MMX machines. These 166,200 CPUs can be purchased
all over in newsgroups, local computer dealers. It is an easy process to
remove the current CPU, change the jumpers and then install another CPU.
After you do it, you'll wonder why you didnt do it sooner...
