Roberto,
I believe the first three problems you are
describing sound like the results of not enough
RAM. If you keep opening programs on your
computer, and try to type in Word, you can tell
when you are starting to exceed the capability of
the memory, by observing the very same symptoms.
There is a delay between typing, and the
characters appearing on the screen.
8Mb seems to be an awfully small amount of memory
to be running Windows 95 and MS Office. I used to
have a hard time running both with 16Mb, on a
Pentium120 system.
The office bar has a habit of mixing up the
icons. If you right-click on a blank spot of the
Office Bar, there will be an option to refresh the
icons. This will usually work.
