Epson PX-16 and PX-4: Pse help
Could anyone please point me in the direction of help with an Epson
PX-16 and a PX-4 (with p40 printer)?
I'm trying to cobble together a cheap but safe way of sending and
receiving email whilst travelling (ideally in conjunction with a
movile phone which has a 14 pin accessory connector); but from a
hotel phone line, legally, would be fine.
The PX-16 will boot up into either msdos v 3.20, or "Sonet or word
processor".
Alas, sonet needs a password (which I can't peek in the first 64 K
of RAM); and wordpro and dos have had write-to-disk disabled. I
can't see the autoexec.bat, nor any of the 5 hidden files it
mentions. Is the 720 KB FD format "non-standard"?
It appears to have been used for selling chocolate. 3 wrong
passwords, and it says to call York for help. Many thanks!
