We are trying to implement a fax server solution in our LAN. Here's what
we have at the moment :

- fibre optic connexion for the LAN : only 40 computers
- T3 internet connexion to our local provider
- 2 compaq proliant servers : 1 for Exchange 5.5 and 1 for Data (large
images)
- 2 X 4 Gigs RAID mirrored on data server

I was told not to go the Software route, so I decided to post to PC
Build, but this would probably also be of some interest on the PC Soft
list. I did a bit of my homework, but not all. Here are a few
solutions I read about :

Hardware fax servers :

Castelle's FaxPress (seems to be more recommended)
Tobit's FAXware
Arcserve's Faxserve.

Software fax servers :

Cheyenne FAXServe (You need specific hardware (class 2/2.0) fax modems
Fenestrae Faxination

If you can add any items to that list, it would be much appreciated.

Thanks for also replying via email.

Cheers,
-Alain
