I just purchaced a Conner 420mb tape backup unit
it is new but came with no documentation
I installed it but win95 will not recognize it
Does anyone have a solution for this ?

Joe
Is it SCSI? If it is then you need to load scsi drivers to allow the
operating system to see it. Then you need software that can use that tape
unit. For instance I run an Adaptec 2940UW and load aspi8dos.sys in
config.sys this allows the applications and operating system to see it. I
use Novaback for windows, and Backup Exce. They both see my tape drives I
have 3, Wangtec 525mb, Wangtech 1.2gig, and Exabyte 7gig as long as I load
this driver first.
