It is amazing that people can put out so much venom in reply to
information being passed on.

This is a forum for discussion indeed, and it is always good to hear
about misconceptions and false propaganda that is being put out there
about Africa in general and Africans per se.  We need to be reminded,
every now and then, about what we left behind and the mentality that
still exists, albeit unwittingly, amongst our own people.

Like Aggo pointed out, the question then becomes, what are we doing to
educate those minds?  Have we become complacent in our quest for a better
life?  Are we naive enough to think that just because we know better,
ergo, everyone should know better?

Anger and shouting other people down never leads to productive discuss.
Remember, we are in America and everyone, illegal or legal alien, is
entitled to free speech.
