It's been interesting seeing all the emotion around the quinoa/grains
discussion. I get the sense that the frustration is about not having
definitive answers. For all the so-called control we have, there's still an
incredible amount that no one is sure of. We'd all like answers, but
unfortunately there aren't any for some issues. This is one of them.

One other note about any lists. I've found some items on lists that just
don't make sense. How there can exist gluten-free ketchup or mayonnaise is
beyond me. (So I avoid both.) Also, manufacturers' lists are nonsensical at
times, too. For example, how on earth can Lipton's Cup-a-Soup Broccoli and
Cheese soup be dairy free. (I'm sure I don't want to know.)

So, until we have some means of testing foods quickly, easily, and
inexpensively (I'm dreaming of a small device in which you put some item
and it gives you an instant readout of whether it contains offending
ingredients.) we'll continue to experience frustration.

My 2 cents. Good health to all...
