Hello everyone..
I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, based on some blood work, the
fact that I was improving although not completly on gf diet and a quick view
in my stomach. The doctor said it looked like I had celiac disease damage to
my intestines even though I had stayed more or less gf for a year.
The biopsy came back inconclusive because of the gf diet.... of course. Now
they tell me I have to eat gluten for 3 months and then have another test.
Does that sound long to anybody else?
I get so sick from wheat I dont know how to cope - I get itches, muscle
twitches, burning sensations, bad stomack, red look all over - at my worst
last year I had 100 twitches an hour. They never suspected that it could be
due to gluten, since I also have a brain tumor.
Please share with me if anybody else has something similar - I feel real
alone in this mess.
