For me, one of the distinguishing features of the VICUG list has been
the exchange of topical, full text documents among blind people. There are
several other lists related to adaptive technology that have message size
restrictions.

If an email program crashes on a large message, there appears to be
something wrong with it, suggesting that reconfiguration or switching
programs is in order. I've tried various DOS, Unix, and Windows based
programs which do not have this problem. Sometimes, they offer the ability
to reject a large message or convert it to an attachment, but they should
not crash the computer.

Regards,
Jamal

Hi,

I'm using Eudora Light 3.0. It is true it is a screen reader friendly
program and
it has a good keyboard support. But Windows crashes if Eudora tries to load
large documents.
In this listing there are people posting very large documents.
Be aware if you post large documents you are crashing the computers of some
users on this listing.
Not everybody on this listing want to read these large documents. I think
it is a good idea to send a message about the existance of such a document
and let people ask for the document. So that it is not distributed to
everybody.
This don't crash my computer and the computers of others on this listing and
keeps my hard drive clean.
