Whether or not you have to set jumpers may depend on the modem.
Windows may or may not detect it. If it does, then when it gets to
the part where it wants to do a search (recommended), say no
and select have disk, browsing to the location of the driver. Go thru
the rest of the steps.
If Windows lets you down, go to settings/control panel/system/device manager
and expand the "other devices" -- Windows did not recognize the pci device
as a modem. You should find a yellow question mark next to your device.
click on display a list ... (next)
select the type of device (next)
select brand then click on have disk etc. as above.
