Gordon:  I'll search the web for that battery info later.  Someone who
maintains more vintage equipment (I upgrade ASAP) will probably get to
it first.

When you ~do~ get a battery, just cut the two prongs at their thinnest
point with a pair of "dikes"- (diagonal cutters), if you want to remove
the old battery.  I take them off, but the ones I've seen left on just
corroded a little and didn't interfere with the new battery.

And yes, you are right about the four gold pins.
