Hi -
Fortunately, dairy-free foods are easily available at every
grocery store, and even more available at health food stores.
One thing you'll need to consider is just how hair-trigger
allergic your child is. SOme ostensibly dairy-free goods have
a degree of cross-contamination risk. Others have negligible
risk.
Kosher grocery stores and kosher foods are also great sources,
since kosher laws prohibit the mingling of milk and meat.
My web site has a practical introduction to the dairy-free
world. WHen you get more sophisticated, this list can help
you with more unusual requests.
I hope this helps,
