i know several people whose kids are milk allergic where they are ok
with goat's milk. however, the kids seem to be less allergic than my
daughter (they get stuffed up/behavioral changes - she gets hives/diarrhea/vomiting).

we are planning to do a goat's milk challenge at about 3 yrs.

meanwhile, we did find a soy milk that she likes (she has spit out all
others) - soy dream original enriched. if your son is normal and likes
somewhat sweet things (my daughter hates 98% of sweet things), maybe
trying a rice milk? or one of the other milks? or even a different
brand of soy milk - they all have very, very different tastes.

i agree with the other posts that said that kids/people don't need milk,
but it is nice to have one my daughter will drink (ditto with other
substitutes), so she can be like mommy/daddy/other kids.
