CNN had an interview with a Doctor from the Osteoporosis (sp?) Society about
this subject. He said that a lot of people rely on milk for their calcium
and he didn't recommend they stop drinking it. His point seemed to be that
the people drinking milk might not substitute another food with calcium in
it and that would represent a step backwards. He didn't actually say that
but that is what I interpreted his comments to mean. In other words, it
wasn't a ringing endorsement for milk consumption.
