Yesterday someone asked where you can get fava beans. I don't have an
answer to that, but I was wondering if anyone on this list has ever ground
baby lima beans and used them in the place of fava beans? I was reading
some information on a web site,
http;//www.notrhcoast.com/~alden/Beans.html, that said for a fava bean
substitute baby lima beans are similar but not as flavorful. I would
guess they are making this comparison for the purpose of cooking the
beans, not milling them, but I wondered if it works?

Also, I was wondering if anyone knows what the name if the rice is that
is used to make sweet rice flour. I see so many different types of rice
in the store and don't know for sure what is what.

Does any kind of brown rice work to make brown rice flour? I saw basmati
brown rice, which I know cooks up different from long grain rice, and long
grain brown rice. The basmati rice is much more expensive.

Thanks in advance for your info,
Susan
