Ken! What great news that I am not alone in judging people by their shoes!
Well, I don't JUDGE them, but it does give me a good idea of who I'm dealing
with. As a matter of fact, shoes are a major deciding factor for me on
whether I'll go out with a man or not. Terrible, I know. Cannot STAND Gucci
loafers; ADORE bucks; Dad wore wingtips; Gramps wore lace-ups; NO
HUSHPUPPIES; Nothing like a good Bass "penny" loafer; love a well worn
Timberland; absolutely despise when cotton socks get all bunched up in an
Italian loafer (ewwwww); Keds deck shoes -- cool, but I know an engineer who
wears them to the job site! (he's got a hole over one big toe) INAPPROPRIATE.
I kind of wigged out when I first saw my priest's toes under his cassock
(Catholic repression talking here). One of my favorite subjects.
Suede pumps signing off........ Anne
