Does it really matter what preservation is called as long as the end result is
acheived? I mean... if reinventing historic preservation as an economic
development strategy will ensure that the practice and policy of historic
preservation are instituted, then what does it matter? Perhaps I'm cavalier,
but I don't care if they call it Sam, just as long as the buildings stay
standing. A rose by any other name, yada yada yada.
