Aloha, y'all!

VICUG NYC's next General Membership Meeting will be held in the Board Room of
The Associated Blind (TAB) building on TUESDAY, JULY FOURTEENTH, from 6 to
8 pm. The July 14 meeting will feature a presentation by Teresa Sacko of
Arkenstone. Ms. Sacko will be demonstrating both the latest Open Book
and Atlas Speaks. Prior to Ms. Sacko's presentation, VICUG NYC
Vice-President Janina Sajka will discuss the comments gathered by the
FCC in response to its Notice of proposed Rule-Making on Section 255
of the Telecommunications Act of 1996, and what YOU can do to ensure
that YOUR voice is heard.

Please note that membership dues will again be collected at the July
14th meeting. Membership dues are $12 for the full calendar year.
Thanks to all who paid at the April, May, and June meetings! (Pay no
attention to the guillotine--it's merely a Bastille Day decoration!)

Background materials and resources relating to July's topics can be found
