>So the question is: does anyone on the list wear a medic alert bracelet
>covering our problems??

I got a medic alert bracelet for my seizures and was impressed with
how very flexible they are. They allow you to put anything you want
on your bracelet ... and then they also have a file on hand with
any additional information you want to add. For instance, I felt
it was really important that it be noted that I don't have grand mal
seizures very frequently, maybe 2-3 times a year ... so that
if I were having a grand mal, the medical folks would know that
this was fairly rare and be able to act accordingly ...
http://www.medicalert.org/ are the folks that have been around
a long time.

A quick web search also turned up http://www.medical-id.com/ ...
couldn't tell, though, from the site, if there was a 24-hour staffed
hotline or if it was just the bracelets.

No financial interest in either company.
