Any Doctors out there who can help I would greatly appreciate it!
I have been GF since November, and feel great for the most part. I seem to
be struggling with losing weight, however, and it is very frustrating. I
eat very little breads, pastas, fats or sweets and I speed-walk 2 miles
several times a week. I have been 10-20 lbs. overweight off and on my whole
life, but could lose rapidly when I started dieting /exercising. I have
gained an additional 20 lbs. since December and have really made efforts
since April to lose. I have only managed to plateau. This would be a total
gain of 30 pounds in one year, even though I am eating less and exercising
more than a year ago.
I had my Thyroid checked. These were the results:
T3 Total 154 (ref:60-170)
Free T4 1.19 (ref:0.73-1.79)
TSH 1.67 (ref:0.30-6.50)
My family doctor said these were in the normal range and that I should try
eating less and exercising more.
Any feedback would be wonderful! Also, what is the next step? My glucose
levels are fine, so I ruled out Diabetes.
Thank you!
Julie
