Need some DOS help.
PB 60, 456MB C Drive, 1.2GB D Drive, E Drive – CD , 40MB Ram.
Installed WFW311 on C to reinstall W95. Without startup diskette, D Drive
is not recognized. I know I must change autoexec.bat and config.sys on C,
for C to recognize D as a hard disk and E as the CD Drive on startup.
Can I do the following:
1. insert the “DEVICEHIGH” statement on the A config.sys into the C
config.sys, changing ‘A’ to ‘C?
2. insert the line with “MSCDEX’ in the A autoexec.bat into the C
autoexec.bat, changing ‘A’ to ‘C’?
