Hi,

I recently acquired several used HD's all of which have problems. One, a
Conner 1GB, has a number of programs on it but no operating system, I tried
to SYS but get an error "Can't SYS network drive." Another drive reports
that it has no boot sector. Finally, a Seagate 1.7G, has a number of bad
sectors that Scandisk can't seem to get fixed. I am wondering if low level
format would help any of these, and if so where would one get the software?
 All help appreciated,

Edna Sloan
