If you are simply going to use the second drive for file storage/backup the
Zip Drive will be fine.

If you intent to run programs from it you would be better off with a second
hard drive.  The Zip, while giving "unlimited" storage with it's removable
cartridge is too slow to run programs from.  (A 1GB SparQ drive would be
better for the same $.)  A second hard drive, (5GB for $200 nowadays, makes
it a better bargain), is always a better choice for expansion.
