I feel the same way. I have just added meat back into my diet, after being
vegetarian for 10 years, including 2 completely vegan. I started eating
Paleo to improve my anemia and chronic fatigue. It works, but I have had to
put my morals on the backburner to follow this WOE. I do believe that eating
meat is natural for human beings, but at the same time I feel bad for the
animals (especially those that suffer in factory farms) and it weighs on my
conscience. There is a certain spirituality about eating vegetarian that is
missing in carnivory. If it's at all possible to be a vegetarian Paleo, I
would like to know -- hopefully there is some other way to get enough protein
(without eating insects -- yuck) and fat. I'm exploring different avenues;
let me know if you find anything helpful ~ Cathy
