Analysis of mitochondrial DNA of neanderthals to modern humans shows
much more differences in DNA as could be possible through mutation
in the 30000 years.
Mitochondrial DNA is always passed from the mother to all its children
without modification except for mutation.
Neanderthal women are not in our anchestors line.
Neanderthals have several signs at their skeleton,
(like chin and forehead for example) that make them easy
dis
tinguishable from and their contemporary cro-magnon humans.
A mix up of cro-magnon and neanderthals would let expect that
mix-types whith/without these skeleton signs would appear.
There are no mix-type-skeletons.
Neanderthals died out.
Not 100% evidence but very probable.
