No. A healthy dog is perfectly capable of handling the bacteria.
Dogs in the wild are scavengers, after all. A dog who eats nothing
but grain *might* have a reaction to the bacteria, but a dog who
gets raw food regularly will probably never show any effects other
than increased health. Bacteria are found in a dog's (and a human's
for that matter!) gut all the time. It is only when the animal is
compromised in some other way that the opportunistic bacteria have a
chance to take hold. The bacteria never have a chance with a
PaleoDog.
