Breastfed infants as well as a lot of other people can still have a reaction
to dairy because cow milk was intended for baby calves, not people. The
ptoteins and fats in the cow milk are just not designed for the human body.
Both my girls have been exclusivelt nursed with no formula or whole milk but
still have reactions as I do. I wasn't nursed as a baby either and all three
of us have the same reactions. Cow milk just was not intended for human
consumption and the allergy symptoms are sure proof of it. A person's
culture background can also determine the severity of a person's allergic
reactions. People with African background or certain Europian backgrounds
tend to be a lot more sensitive than someone with ancestry from other parts
of the world. Genetics play a big role in things. In the end, milk from an
infant's mother is species specific, thus nature's way of attending to their
needs. Once they've come of age where they've weaned, people really aren't
supposed to have milk in their diet.
