I have gotten very confused about which doc to go to as well. My son now has a pediatrician, pulmonologist, ENT, allergist, and an allergy specialist in NYC. I often feel like it is overkill, but they do not. I use my pediatrician as the coordinator. If his ailment is not completely specific to one specialist, I go to the pediatrician. ie. he has severe sinus problems that aggrivate his asthma. So, when he starts coughing and snorting, do I go to the pulmo or the ENT. I just go to the pediatrician and she tells who to see, if anyone. She is very good at giving advice if I just call her too. Hope it helps!
