 Perhaps we were wrong but it was enough of a coincedence 
for me and my Ped. Allergist agreed that it is indeed possible. 
With allergies anything is possible.<

Sorry, but I stand firm in this. The original note talked about 
lactose intolerance. And becoming or suffering the 
symptoms of lactose intolerance because 
of eating an animal fed with whey is physiologic nonsense. 

You are talking about milk allergies. These are two entirely different 
conditions. An allergy is a reaction to a protein. The other is an 
inability to digest milk sugar. It is extremely important for people 
on this List, of all places, to understand the difference. 
Causes, reactions, symptoms, and avoidances for the two 
problems are totally unrelated. 

I've seen this confusion crop up a significant number of 
times recently. For you own sakes, please be sure you 
know and understand which you have, and what it involves.
