Jun, I have seen this where an anti-virus program is running at startup.
My situation was with McAfee AV line in the autoexec.bat program:
"scanpm.exe". I changed it to "Scan.exe" and instead of 1/2 hr startup
time it is now a few seconds. My son's computer also has this same problem
(Both are Rhino 12 boards). Don't have the problem with other motherboards
that I work with.
