We use one at work on a word processing/internet computer. It was purchased
through Surplus Software, was really inexpensive, but has some discoloration
in one corner. It has run almost constantly for a couple of years with no
problem, although the software shuts it down if no one uses it for an hour.
It is fine for our purpose, but I would have to recommend a better quality
monitor for applications like image editing.
