Hormone replacement therapy can cause weight problems for many women.
This can also be caused by birth control pills or DP shots.  Even men
who take DP shots (aka chemical castration) experence this effect. Ask
your doctor to test your hormone levels to see if you are getting enough
testosterone.  A lack of this vital hormone can also cause a lack of
libido and loss or thining of pubic hair as well as weight gain.
